Zoologishoppen was created through my genuine interest in animals and nature. The interest in animals has permeated me since childhood, I started as a mini-zoologist to study worms, spiders, frogs, beetles and ants I could not help but follow.

Over the years, most things followed in the way of pets such as rats & mice, fish of all its species, reptiles and birds.

After several years as a massage therapist, I had enough and realized oneof my many dreams. I started a unique dog daycare / boarding house with
a facility of high enrichment for the dogs, a facility where many of the dogs' different needs could be stimulated naturally and successfully.

Who am I

My name is Nikola Damjanov and I live with my wife Madelene and ourtwo children on the farm Nordgård which is located on the outskirts of
the small village Tjärby.

Today I study some subjects and then study further to become a Zoologist & Paleontologist. After that, maybe I can succeed my big idol that I had and watched since I could watch TV, David Attenborough. I've actually methim, but only virtually at the National History Museum in London, a
favorite place I visit every time we go to London.

Zoologishoppen

It all started with Rexy (pictured below) as I call him.

He was bought in a toy store shortly after Noah was born, because Dad wanted to show him what the dinosaur Tyrannosaurus rex looked like. Rexy wasalso the starting shot for my huge collection of animal models. Interest grew and so did the need for space. Today, the entire collection is in the hall I call mancave.

Time passed and now I want to share my collection with all of you who have an interest in animals. Some want to collect horses and animals from the farm while others collect only dinosaurs. Personally, I love all the different species, from the wild animals to sea animals. Dinosaurs and the prehistoric animals are extra close to my heart.

The store

My entire mancave had to be dismantled and everything was carefully packed into boxes and drawers.

Now the Zoologishoppen would take over and renovation was started to adapt it to a store. When you sneak into the store, you can hear the dinosaurs'sounds far in over the diorama Dinoworld, the shelves are crammed with model animals in super nice condition, the stuffed animals can not be resisted but watch out for the dragons guarding the entrance. Last but not least here are creatures hiding in their caves but if you are lucky you may be able to see them when they meander out to drink some water.

The vision

Zoologishoppen constantly strives for exciting products, news, the latest research on paleontology & zoology so that you as a customer experience the pleasure of visiting us, whether it is in the webshop or in the physical store.

To create a common place for all animal fanatics, nerds, collectors & children as adults and offer them the products they want. It is much appreciated if you hear and are curious about a particular animal, a specific brand or something else you are thinking about.

Founded

Zoologishoppen was founded in the winter of 2019 by Nikola Damjanov. Knowledge and commitment - as well as an eye for what was needed to establish oneself on the market among the big giants.

Zoologishoppen jump's key word quality before quantity. High quality goes hand in hand with durability; if the models/toys last longer and are timeless, you do not need to buy new ones as often.
