The barn owl is one of the world's largest owls. It is a resident bird, found in most of Europe and Asia.
Description Distinctive features of the berg owl are its distinct ear tufts and orange-yellow iris, as well as the large head and rich plumage.
It breeds mainly in forested mountain areas, on rocky islands and less often in buildings.
