The dugongs are completely adapted to a life in the sea. They have a rounded body shape that tapers backwards. The length of an adult animal is about 2.5 m and they weigh about 250 kg.
Description
The dugong often lives in turbid water areas and is very shy. Therefore, not much is known about the animal's lifestyle. It is rarely observed when breathing as only a small part of the head with the nostrils is above the water surface. On the other hand, dugong approaches divers and ships in clear sea areas when it feels safe. Some individuals sometimes play for several hours with divers.
Made of PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.
