In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature, a symbol of purity and grace.
The Tree of Life (Torso) - It is a representation of harmony and balance in nature. The Tree of Life symbolized strength, a long life, wisdom, and rebirth. The Celts also believed that they actually came from trees, and considered them magical, living beings. Trees were said to guard the land and acted as a doorway into the spirit world.
Sailor's Knot (Leg) - This design features two intertwined ropes and may have been created by sailors during their long voyages as a means of remembering their loved ones. The Sailor’s knot is symbolic of friendship, affection, harmony and love.
Made of PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.
