Like wasps and other bees, the female bumblebees have a stinger, but it is almost invisible due to the furry back. It has no barbs and can therefore be used several times. The poison is much weaker than, for example, that of the honey bee, and it feels more like the bumblebee is burning.
Description
There are approximately 250 described hop species in the world, of which 38 species are in Sweden.
The most common species in Sweden (counted during the period 1990–2019) are field bumblebee, dark bumblebee, stone bumblebee, meadow bumblebee, light bumblebee (previously called grove bumblebee), house bumblebee, garden bumblebee, bluebell bumblebee, earthworm bumblebee and hay bumblebee.

Made of PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.
