Nilgai are habitat generalists, living in grasslands and woodlands where they eat grasses, leaves, buds, and fruit. They avoid dense forest and prefer the plains and lowhills with shrubs, but may also be found in cultivated areas.
Description
The Nilgau is found in India, from the foothills of the Himalayas to the state of Karnataka in the south and from the Gir Forest in the west to the state of Assam in the east. There is a population of about 15,000 Nilgau in Texas where they were introduced by hunters in the 1920s.
Made of PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.
