The reindeer is an arctic deer that lives on the tundra and in the coniferous forest in northern Europe, North America and Asia and in Greenland. It is the only deer in which both sexes have horns. The North American reindeer is larger than the Eurasian. The bull sheds its horns after the rut in autumn. The cow keeps her horns over the winter and sheds them only after calving.
Made of PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.
