Description:
This handsome horse figure is hand painted with a dark coat and blond mane and tail. The mane is long and wavy and appears to float in the wind. He is built very strong and robust, and is a must-have model for any horse collection.

History:

The Black Forest Horse probably has its origins in the primitive and extinct Forest Horse that lived in the forests of Europe. Documentation from the Middle Ages has shown that horses, very similar to the old type of Black Forest Horse, existed in the Black Forest forest even then and were widely used as pack animals, transport animals and for riding.
