Torosaurus was a typical ceratopsid that walked on all fours, had a heavy body and a large skull with a collar of bone covering the neck. The body length was 7-9 meters from nose to tail, and the weight 6-7 tons. Like other horned dinosaurs, Torosaurus had two long horns over the eyes and a smaller one on the snout which was probably an effective defense against predatory dinosaurs.
