The polar bear is at the top of the food chain in the Arctic marine system. In some places where the sea ice melts away, however, the killer whale is taking over as the top predator.
Description
In the icy Arctica and Antarctica, animal life is rich and vast. Life here is hard, but the species have adapted perfectly to their environment. Some hibernate during the coldest months and some, like the empire penguin, survives by huddling together in large groups for warmth and comfort. During the short summer months the sun never sets and the animals eat and store energy to, once again, face the darkness of the winter.
These model figures are made from PVC plastic, free from phthalates. They are hand-painted with extreme attention to detail and quality.
Papo's products undergo tests performed by approved laboratories. The toys carry the CE marking and comply with all health, safety, and environmental protection requirements as stipulated by European legislation.
