Cryolophosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Jurassic period, about 190-185 million years ago in what is now Antarctica.

At the time, Antarctica was the only landmass that had seasons, so when winter came and it got colder, Cryolophosaurs seem to have gone into hibernation like today's mammals do. Cryolophosaurus hunted other, smaller dinosaurs in the Antarctic jungles.

It was between 6-8 meters long and weighed around 3 tons.

Antarctica may not be everyone's dream destination, but if you had to choose: would you rather have lived there then, with warmth and sneaky dinosaurs, or now - with cold and loud penguins?

With articulated jaw
