The Papo Stag Beetle figurine is the perfect creepy crawly for your bug collection.
Scale: 1: 1
Description
The ox beetle lives in trees and has a robustly built body. The last segments of the antennas are wider and look like leaves. The males have larger sizes and larger mouth tools, but despite the size, the males' mouth tools are harmless to humans. Only females cause pain when they bite. They feed on the fluids of the trees as they lick from openings in the bark. In case of danger, they usually play dead. They become 5-10 cm long.
While this species can come in a variety of vibrant and iridescent colours, this model represents the traditional UK-dwelling beetle, and so its six legs, antennae and antler-shaped jaws are painted black and deep chestnut brown. At first glance, this critter could be mistaken for the real thing. This model also depicts a male stag beetle, as the females have much smaller ‘horns’.
Small insects and insects are just as important as large mammals and reptiles. They are everywhere and can be so small that they are not visible to the naked eye. They have a job to do - maybe they should clean up when a larger animal dies, or maybe they should fertilize plants. There are fantastic insects that look like made-up figures and beautiful insects, like large butterflies. Papo has made some of them and more are coming.
The figures are made of phthalate-free PVC.
Papo's products undergo extensive testing in an accredited laboratory. The toys are CE marked and thus meet the health, safety, environmental and other requirements prescribed in accordance with European legislation.
For almost 25 years, PAPO has been making its amazing figures. Childhood is a time of discovery and play and that is what they wanted to encourage when they designed the first princesses, princes, dragons and knights. Now the range is much wider and there is everything from domestic and wild animals to dinosaurs and pirates.
PAPO's characters are exciting and fun and arouse children's imagination. The best way for a child to learn is through play; play arouses curiosity and curiosity leads to discovery and knowledge.
But it's not just children who appreciate PAPO's characters. Thanks to their realism, they are also very popular with collectors.
PAPO protects the animals of the earth and through their figures they want to draw attention to the nature of our planet and the biological diversity. They are members of the World Wide Fund for Nature's Business Club - through this partnership, PAPO provides financial support for the animals on our planet.
