The Papo Leatherback Turtle is sculpted in a resting position, ready for some imaginative ocean play.
Description
The leatherback turtle is the largest of all living turtle species. They can grow up to 2 meters long and weigh up to 600 kg. The sea leather turtle has no hard shell, but is instead covered with thick, flexible, leather-like skin. Their main food consists of jellyfish. The female lays around 100 eggs, which she covers with sand. After 60-70 days, the eggs hatch and the young are allowed to fend for themselves.
Its body and strong shell are painted dark grey with spotted sandy colouring all over. Its underside is also more cream and its eyes are painted black. This model features impressive ridged and wrinkled detailing ensuring this turtle figurine is perfect for some fun water-based sensory play or for display in your oceanic model animal collection.
The figures are made of phthalate-free PVC.
