The Papo Leopard Shark is a great model of the fierce sea predator.
Description
The leopard shark is easily recognizable by its spots. They are located along the coasts of North and Central America and prefer soft, shallow bottoms and coral reefs. They are harmless to humans and live on small fish, squid and crustaceans. The leopard shark lays eggs and when the chicks hatch, they are around 30 cm long and rather zebra-patterned, but when they have grown into them, the stripes turn into spots. The longest leopard shark that has been found was about 235 cm long. The leopard shark is not endangered.
While often also referred to as a zebra shark due to its markings, this shark figurine is painted predominantly grey with dark grey and black stripes and spots all over its sleek body, and is sculpted in swimming position, tail slightly curved, making it easy to imagine it stalking its prey. Its gills are clearly visible on the side of its body, making this shark model perfect for imaginative ocean play, or enjoy some water play with some other marine creatures.
The figures are made of phthalate-free PVC.
Papo's products undergo extensive testing in an accredited laboratory. The toys are CE marked and thus meet the health, safety, environmental and other requirements prescribed in accordance with European legislation.
For almost 25 years, PAPO has been making its amazing figures. Childhood is a time of discovery and play and that is what they wanted to encourage when they designed the first princesses, princes, dragons and knights. Now the range is much wider and there is everything from domestic and wild animals to dinosaurs and pirates.
PAPO's characters are exciting and fun and arouse children's imagination. The best way for a child to learn is through play; play arouses curiosity and curiosity leads to discovery and knowledge.
But it's not just children who appreciate PAPO's characters. Thanks to their realism, they are also very popular with collectors.
PAPO protects the animals of the earth and through their figures they want to draw attention to the nature of our planet and the biological diversity. They are members of the World Wide Fund for Nature's Business Club - through this partnership, PAPO provides financial support for the animals on our planet.
