The Papo Okapi Congolese Giraffe is a great model of the African forest animal. While its closest relative is a giraffe, the okapi looks more like a cross between a deer and a zebra.
Description
It feeds mainly on leaves and twigs, as well as in smaller amounts of fruits, seeds and other plant parts. Okapin's sight and hearing are first class and at the slightest sign of danger it rushes into dense forest and hides. Thus, okapin is very difficult to see. They will be around 2.5 meters long.

It is painted predominantly dark brown, with white striped markings on its legs and a shaded white face, tall brown ears and a dark tail. This model is sculpted in a standing position and is beautifully detailed all over its body, including textured fur and wrinkles to indicate movement.
The figures are made of phthalate-free PVC.
Papo's products undergo extensive testing in an accredited laboratory. The toys are CE marked and thus meet the health, safety, environmental and other requirements prescribed in accordance with European legislation.
