Although the species is called black rhinoceros, it is not black but gray. The whole thing is based on a linguistic misunderstanding which led the English to call the blunt rhinoceros the white rhinoceros. Since there were two species of rhinoceros in South Africa, they then chose to call the other species the black rhinoceros.
Description
Rhinos have roamed our earth for 60 million years, and at one time there were 30 species of rhinoceros. Today, five species remain and it is a race against time if we are to succeed in saving them.
In Africa's savannas, hundreds of species live side by side. Predators, herbivores and even scavengers trying to survive in a hot and harsh climate. Constantly on guard, they wander across the plains, seeking shade under the trees and finding coolness at the waterhole.
Papo's products undergo extensive testing at accredited laboratories. The toys are CE marked and thus meet the health, safety, environmental and other requirements prescribed in accordance with European legislation.
