The Postosuchus lived during the time of the first dinosaurs and resembled a crocodile, just like the Postosuchus from Schleich® Dinosaurs.

Description
Postosuchus was an archosaur and thus a close relative of today's crocodiles. He had prominent bone plates embedded in the skin and a long, narrow snout. Most of the time he moved forward on all fours, but sometimes he stood on his hind legs to hold onto his prey with his claws. When the postosuchus from Schleich® Dinosaurs opens its powerful, movable jaw, you can see its sharp, dagger-like teeth.

Postosuchus was named after its discovery site, the town of Post in the US state of Texas.
