Green sea turtle or mushroom turtle (Chelonia mydas) is a species in the family of sea turtles that occurs worldwide in tropical and subtropical sea areas.
Description Characteristics:
The name refers to the top of the shells, which often have a color scheme that varies from greenish to dark brown. The underside and the joints between the shell plates are light yellow.
