Bantam is a dwarf chicken breed that came to Europe in the middle of the 19th century from Java in Indonesia. It is an ancient dwarf, that is, one of the really old dwarf chicken breeds.
Description By their way, bantams are active chickens that have good flying skills. If they are kept in an enclosure outdoors, netting is therefore often needed over the enclosure as well. They are easily tamed and the individuals are often sociable by nature.

This bantam hen is a lovely garden animal and useful farm bird, playful and calm, but productive. If a chicken could ever be called a pillow, bantams would be the breed.
Size and Color:
This 2-inch tall bantam hen has brown feathers, but with darker shading for added realism, along with a red comb and beak, dark yellow legs and beak.
