A nice model of the life cycle of the bee. Egg, larva, pupa and bee. With the help of this, you can easily explain the life cycle of the bee to children.

Description
First stage:

The honey bee's life cycle begins when the queen lays an egg in a suitable wax cell in the wax cake. The egg is white, elongated and slightly arched. With the hatching of the egg, a new phase in the individual's development begins. It is now a caterpillar.

Second stage:

After 3 days, the egg hatches into a larva. In the larval stage, the honey bee lacks antennae, legs, wings and even eyes.

Third stage:

Eventually the caterpillar spins a cocoon of silk around itself and forms a pupa. Before the bee is fully grown, it spends about 8-14 days as a pupa.

Fourth stage:

When the bee is fully mature, it begins to chew its way out of the pupa. The entire transformation from egg to fully grown bee lasts about 16-24 days. Honey bees include two different types, namely worker bees and drone bees. In addition, there are also queen bees, but the bee society usually does not allow more than 1 queen.
