A small species of owl found in the forests of North America, Mexico and Canada. The eastern screech owl consists of five different subspecies. They can often be found in urban areas and have adapted well to living alongside humans.
This model is a larger type made by Safari Ltd and the range is called the Incredible Creatures® collection. Incredibly beautiful.
Description Despite its name, the eastern screech owl is not actually screechy. Instead, it does the quiet hooting.

Properties:
The eastern screech owl is active mostly during the hours of darkness and hunts during the night. Hopefully this beautifully hand-painted model doesn't flutter too much at night, but instead gets you some sleep!
Size and Color:
The model is 4.75 inches long and 5 inches tall. Eastern screech owls can have many different colors, although they are usually a mixture of brown, tan, black and white.
