Description Tyrannosaurus rex had more than 50 teeth that were more than 15 cm long, with these not being used for chewing, but rather for tearing apart the flesh that was devoured in large chunks. The eyes of Tyrannosaurus rex were directed forward so that the fields of vision overlapped. This is because it would have better depth vision in the hunt for food.
Fun facts
If this ferocious predatory dinosaur lost one of its dagger-clicking teeth, it was replaced by a new one in just a few weeks.
