Feathered velociraptor

Velociraptor is a genus in the dinosaur family Dromaeosauridae. They lived about 70-75 million years ago in what is now Mongolia. Velociraptor was a relatively small, upright and carnivorous dinosaur. They were around 2 meters long and are believed to have weighed around 15 kg. An examination of the elbow bone from a Velociraptor revealed transverse grooves in the bone. These are found on some modern birds, and form a bracket for their armrests.
