This boxed set builds a strong core for an Armies of Grand Cathay force for use in Warhammer: The Old World . The elite Jade Lancers cavalry lead the charge to crush the enemy front lines. Behind them march the relentless ranks of Jade Warriors , ready to defend the realm or push forward to gain new territory. Two powerful artillery pieces provide fire support from a distance.
The box contains 50 multi-part plastic miniatures:
2x Cathayan Grand Cannons (which can also be built as Fire Rain Rocket Batteries )
10x Jade Lancers
30x Jade Warriors
The thumbnails in this box are easy to customize:
Jade Lancers can be built as one large unit or two units of five riders each – with optional parts for the champion, standard bearer and musician.
Jade Warriors can be built as one large unit, two units of 15 or three units of 10 – again with options for champion, standard bearer and musician. They can be equipped with hand weapons and shield or halberds , and heads, hair tufts and decorations are interchangeable between models.
Cathayan Grand Cannons can alternatively be built as Fire Rain Rocket Batteries – both options include three artillery crews as well as an optional ogre reloader .
No matter how you choose to build them, this is a great start to a new Grand Cathay army or a great way to expand your collection and save money compared to buying each kit separately.
